Position Overview
As a Process Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing wafers for experimentation, operating reactors to perform thin film processes, and using scanning electron microscopes for analyses and imaging. You’ll record process conditions and experimental observations, perform routine maintenance procedures, and evaluate wafers and thin films. Process Technicians prepare cross-section samples for analysis, identify patterns of interest in imaging, and operate laboratory process equipment and instrumentation. Your expertise in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and process optimization drives higher levels of productivity, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in developing process technology for advanced CVD / PVD processes
- Perform basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes based on engineer directions
- Own the execution of module processes, data collection for measurement and inspection, and sharing data with the engineer
- Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequences, and collect data to feedback to engineers
- Occasional overtime to support process engineering activities
Requirements
- Basic understanding of semiconductor processes is preferred
- Candidates with prior semiconductor equipment experience will be considered
- Previous experience as a Process Technology technician in Fab/Cleanroom environments (CVD, PVD, ALD, etc.) is advantageous
