Entry Requirements as a Trainee

• Minimum GCE “N” Level
• Passionate in working on aircraft and technical works
• No prior experience required

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Technician after completion of training

• Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
• Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
• Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/or component using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.

As a Leadman after completion of training

• Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
• Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
• Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft system and/or component using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures and safety requirements.
• Able to lead/coach, mentor and/or manage a team of technicians through a structured OJT/ OJT assessment.
• Able to champion production quality and safety on current initiatives or any future continuous improvement plan.
• Able to assist engineers in troubleshooting, defect detection and rectifications of aircraft system during maintenance checks.
