Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 254 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

Role

We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as General Banking Manager, to undergo structured training to develop a wide spectrum of retail banking product knowledge and pave the way for further career development as a Relationship Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to retail customers in the branch network
• Proactively identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking services and solutions
• Participate in promotional campaigns to acquire new business and strengthen customer loyalty
• Maintain awareness of operational risks and adhere to relevant policies and guidelines

Requirements

• University degree / Associate degree holders; or HKCEE / HKDSE holders with at least 1 year of working experience in any industry, preferably in a financial institution
• Fresh graduates are welcome for entry-level
• Relevant professional qualification in insurance and investment is an advantage
• Strong service and sales orientation, self-motivated with good communication skills
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with Putonghua proficiency an advantage
• A high level of customer-centric mindset with dedication to delivering exceptional quality services
• Ability to manage complex interactions effectively
• Strong situational awareness, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work in an Agile environment
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under HKIB would be an advantage
