Position Summary

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties. Duties include processing consumer and commercial checking and savings deposits, processing loan payments, cashing checks, and processing savings withdrawals. The role serves as a primary liaison for customers in situations requiring research and follow-up. The Client Service Specialist identifies client needs and generates sales leads for additional service/product opportunities. The position requires premier servicing skills, along with excellent oral and written communication.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Resolve client-based inquiries and concerns, including but not limited to reconciliation of statements, card re-pins, card lockouts, balance inquiries, error corrections, and other customer service issues posed by clients or employees
• Perform clerical duties
• Order products and set up services for clients
• Assist manager(s) and/or Relationship Manager in operational duties, including external business meetings at the client’s office
• Attend external events and expos
• Complete other related tasks and projects as directed by management

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of customer service experience in a bank environment
• Strong ability to understand risk
• Serve as a liaison between customers and the financial institution
• Communicate regularly with clients to build and maintain strong relationships
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records
• Stay updated on bank policies, financial trends, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other bank staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Flexibility to work branch hours
• Driven by a passion and curiosity to continuously learn how various technological systems, including AI, can enhance the work you do

Potential Salary

$60,000 – $65,000 annually. This salary range reflects base wages and does not include benefits, bonus, or incentive pay. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
