[Keppel Internship Programme 2026] Intern,Environment (Business Development) (June - Aug/Dec 2026)

Job Description

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy and environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. The intern will be responsible for the following:

• Lead or support the improvement and optimization of projects within the Environment Business processes.
• Support sourcing, evaluation, and execution of business development pipelines for environment-related/infrastructure projects, tenders, and development.
• Support deals and process management, including performance of financial and technical evaluations, risk assessment, etc., of projects leading to approvals/endorsement from management.
• Support the execution of deals, build financial models, and conduct due diligence.
• Support the preparation of investment papers and recommendations for investment approvals.
• Engage in marketing activities across the Environmental business.
• Assist and engage in the review of technologies/setups and M&A opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Business, Finance or related disciplines.
• Interest in related fields, e.g., process/waste-to-energy/power industries/carbon capture would be advantageous.
• Strong fundamental and technical analysis and critical thinking capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and key research databases.
• Interest in financial analysis and modelling.
• Strong leadership and team player, proactive and meticulous.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
