The programmes
Stripe's university recruiting page lists two early-career streams: an Internship programme of 12 or 16 weeks (with a longer programme in some regions) and a New Graduate programme that most cohorts enter after first interning.
The internship runs out of San Francisco, Dublin, and Singapore and covers Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Strategy and Operations, Sales, and Business Development; engineering interns are matched to a specific team via a survey closer to start date rather than choosing one at application. Because a candidate applies once to the general engineering intern pool rather than to a long list of team-specific roles, the upfront application workload is lower than at a bank, but the team and product an intern actually works on are decided after the offer rather than before.
