Internship Opportunity

Our internship program will provide a flavor of the work done at Ekimetrics and may lead to a full-time offer. As an Intern Consultant, you will be:

• Working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, focusing on advanced data science, AI-powered solutions, and consulting, including client meetings and building bespoke solutions to address their challenges.
• Working in small teams of 2 to 5 consultants on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously.
• Involved in projects from initial discovery meetings through to final recommendations; responsible for data gathering and analysis, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations, and delivering final results.
• Having significant opportunities for creativity to suggest innovative approaches and receiving mentorship to grow, take ownership of projects, and present results to C-suite clients.

Requirements for Engagement

• Students graduating between 2027 and 2028.
• Commitment to a full-time engagement of 5 to 6 months (5-day work week). Onboarding will commence in January 2027.
• Applicants seeking less than 5 months of engagement will not be considered at this time.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a talented intern who possesses the following qualities:

• Final year student preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field, with an outstanding academic record.
• Passion for data, extensive knowledge in statistics or applied mathematics, familiarity with techniques such as modeling/optimization, and experience using advanced analytical methodologies to answer business questions.
• Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, etc.
• Consulting experience or a strong interest in working as a consultant.
• Strong interest in marketing and business topics.
• Autonomy and dynamism in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• A commitment to continuously striving for high performance.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
