Municipal Sales & Trading Intern – Fixed Income Division

Position Summary

The Municipal Sales & Trading teams provide full services to our institutional customers, covering clients such as bond funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts.

The Municipal Sales team is tasked with bringing Loop origination product to market, following up on and executing client inquiries daily, and managing client relationships. The Municipal Trading team facilitates the buying and selling of municipal bonds by analyzing credit and market conditions, pricing and executing trades, and managing risk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the team with daily market research and analysis.
• Utilize Bloomberg and other market data platforms to gather and analyze information.
• Attend all applicable meetings and events, including early morning calls.
• Update sales records as necessary.
• Observe and learn sales skills.
• Participate in client calls as appropriate.
• Work independently and collaboratively to develop a final project and present findings to the firm.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as a rising college Junior or Senior in Summer of 2027 with a record of high academic achievement.
• Ability to take initiative and a willingness to take ownership of assignments and projects.

The Loop Capital 2027 Summer Internship Program will be held June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027.
