Responsibilities

• Involve in the application lifecycle management for software systems in a highly automated semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Develop a keen understanding of IT and Manufacturing Automation trends and apply this knowledge to technical and business analysis sessions to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with global IT teams from diverse backgrounds and experiences to convert requirements into effective and efficient technical solutions.
• Serve as the IT technical authority within Micron, providing advice and recommendations to senior management on improvements to processes, procedures, and software system development.
• Ensure adherence to the Secure Software Development Lifecycle standard, including risk assessment, secure coding standards and guidelines, and compliance with the internal governance framework during development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure quality software releases through detailed software acceptance testing, verification, and end-user training.
• Keep applications software and hardware systems current with the latest production releases by applying required updates and patches.
• Develop capabilities to prevent unscheduled downtime through systems monitoring to actively identify and fix abnormalities.
• Leverage AI-powered development, automation, and analytic tools to improve software delivery, code quality, and operational efficiency.
• Continuously develop AI proficiency and adopt emerging technologies to accelerate innovation and business value creation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#/C++, Perl, .NET Core, Angular, SQL, or similar.
• Creative and passionate about implementing innovative IT solutions to resolve important business problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Bring enthusiasm to a dynamic team to achieve common goals through effective collaboration and dedication.
• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing work environment; must be responsive and able to solve high-priority Manufacturing Software Applications problems as required.
• Good software project management skills and exposure to agile development methodology will be advantageous.
