Opportunity Overview

Be part of a team that shapes banking solutions for businesses across the region. As a Programme Management Intern within the Emerging Business International team, you will gain exposure to both cash management and business lending products while supporting strategic initiatives across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. You will have the opportunity to develop your analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills while contributing to product innovation, customer acquisition, and business growth.

You will work closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand the needs of SMEs, identify market opportunities, and support product and campaign launches. Your ability to analyze data, derive insights, and collaborate effectively across teams will be key to driving meaningful outcomes and enhancing customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Market Research & Analysis: Support regional market scans across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia to understand competitive product offerings, customer needs, and emerging opportunities within the SME banking landscape.
• Customer Insights: Conduct customer and market analysis to identify target segments, uncover growth opportunities, and refine banking propositions across payments, collections, foreign exchange, and cash management solutions.
• Product Development: Support the enhancement of cash management products, including account solutions, trade and foreign exchange offerings, and business debit card propositions.
• Campaign Management: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Credit, and other stakeholders to support the development and execution of product launches, campaigns, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Data Analytics & Reporting: Analyze portfolio and business data to generate insights, prepare management reports, and develop visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Support initiatives to automate reporting processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer onboarding experiences.
• System Enhancement Support: Work with Technology and business stakeholders to track system issues, support remediation activities, and contribute to ongoing enhancement initiatives.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Support the monitoring of portfolio performance, revenue drivers, and business metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Provide support on programme management, product management, and strategic projects as assigned.
