Associate Product Marketer

The Associate Product Marketer supports the development and execution of product marketing strategies across Capital Group's investment capabilities and strategic growth priorities.

Working at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, this role helps develop product positioning, messaging, launches, campaigns, and client engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will learn to transform complex investment expertise into compelling, audience-relevant narratives that support client understanding, adoption, and long-term engagement. This role is ideal for an early-career marketer interested in investment products, strategic storytelling, and client behavior, offering exposure to regional marketing initiatives across Asia.

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Support the development of product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for Capital Group investment solutions.
  • Help articulate product benefits, competitive differentiation, and client relevance across key client segments.
  • Partner with investment specialists and product experts to translate technical investment concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages.
  • Ensure consistency of product narratives across campaigns, content, and client-facing materials.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution

  • Support product launches, strategic campaigns, and marketing initiatives across Asia.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market plans and marketing activities that support awareness, engagement, and adoption objectives.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Client Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure effective execution.
  • Help manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.

Audience Insight & Narrative Development

  • Develop an understanding of client audiences, their objectives, and the barriers they face when making investment decisions.
  • Help identify the most relevant product stories for different client segments.
  • Build narratives that connect product capabilities with investor needs, behaviors, and outcomes.
  • Support efforts to create more audience-led and decision-focused marketing experiences.

Content & Client Enablement

  • Develop and adapt product-related content across a range of formats, including presentations, emails, webpages, articles, videos, social content, and campaign assets.
  • Support the creation of sales enablement and client education materials.
  • Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with approved messaging.
  • Work with content marketers to deliver integrated marketing experiences across the client journey.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Monitor engagement metrics and stakeholder feedback to assess marketing effectiveness.
  • Support competitor reviews and market analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen positioning, messaging, and client engagement over time.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, communications, consulting, research, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Exposure to financial services, investments, or related industries is advantageous.

  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
