Internship – Disputes, Claims, & Investigations
Summer interns in the Disputes, Claims, & Investigations group work primarily on engagements within a litigation setting. Common engagements include forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, quantification of commercial damages, and complex insurance claims.
At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away.
Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, a typical day might include:
- Assisting in the creation of financial models
- Analyzing financial statements
- Reviewing and organizing documents received
- Performing data entry
- Conducting industry and company research
- Performing quality control checks
- Assisting Analysts and Associates with various ad hoc requests
The intern will be part of a firm where a culture of exceptional client service is inspired by leadership at every level.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Pursuing a BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong academic record with a minimum 3.2 GPA required
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Relevant internship and/or extracurricular experience
- Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship at the time of hire and in the future

Additional Information
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $32.00 per hour, depending on prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills. This role is not eligible for bonuses or benefits.
