Finance Intern - Nov Start

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Finance and Accounting Intern to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing crypto firm. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting, digital-asset operations, financial reporting, and regulatory controls.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with accounts payable, payment processing, invoice verification, and expense tracking.
• Perform bank, digital wallet, and liquidity-provider reconciliations.
• Support the recording and reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, client funds, and trading balances.
• Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and preparation of management reports.
• Maintain accounting schedules, supporting documents, and audit records.
• Support financial and regulatory reporting, including data extraction and validation.
• Investigate reconciliation differences and follow up with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Assist with process improvements, automation, and other ad hoc finance projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with large volumes of data.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work across different teams.
• Interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets, or fintech is preferred, but prior industry experience is not required.

This internship provides hands-on experience in both traditional accounting and the financial operations of a regulated digital-asset business.
