About Range

At Range, we’re building towards a world where anyone can live the financial life they imagine for themselves. We’re building AI-powered wealth management—investments, taxes, retirement, and estate planning—on one platform instead of across scattered advisors and apps. We’re backed by Google’s Gradient Ventures, Cathay Innovation, Scale Venture Partners, and more. We’re growing fast while still small enough that everyone’s work is visible and impactful.

About the Role

As an Account Manager at Range, you’ll drive our sales efforts by engaging potential clients, qualifying leads, and ensuring a seamless transition to our advisory team. You’ll manage inbound inquiries, re-engage warm leads, and maintain a strong sales pipeline to help grow our client base. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for helping people make smart financial decisions.

We’re excited to hire this role at Range’s Headquarters in McLean, VA or our hub in New York City. All positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with your team. If you’re not currently based in one of these areas but are interested, we can discuss relocation options as part of your journey to joining us.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to Inbound Leads: Engage with potential clients who inquire about Range’s services via our website, ads, referrals, and other channels.
  • Lead Qualification: Conduct initial conversations to understand prospects’ financial needs, answer questions, and determine if they’re a good fit for our services.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Book meetings for our sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Re-engage Leads: Follow up with leads who have expressed interest but haven’t yet booked a meeting.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in Salesforce and Outreach, ensuring timely follow-ups and organized data tracking.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Provide feedback on lead quality and share insights to help refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as call volume, meetings scheduled, and conversion rates to meet individual and team goals.
  • Account Management: Identify opportunities to offer additional services and enhance client relationships.

What Will Set You Apart

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce and Outreach is a plus.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Interest in financial services, wealth management, or related fields is a bonus.
  • SIE, Series 7, Series 65, Series 66, CFP, or similar designation preferred.

Benefits

  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer-covered medical insurance for employees (75% for dependents), plus dental and vision coverage.
  • 401(k): Retirement savings program to support your future.
  • Paid Time Off: Time to reset and recharge + most federal holidays.
  • Parental Leave: Comprehensive leave policy for growing families.
  • Meals: Select meals covered throughout the week.
  • Fitness: Monthly movement stipend.
  • Equity & Career Growth: Early exercise eligibility and a strong focus on professional development.
  • Annual Compensation Reviews: Salary and equity refreshes based on performance.
  • Boomerang Program: After two years at Range, you can take time away to start your own company. We’ll hold your spot for 6 months—and pause your equity vesting, which resumes if you return.
