Job Description
The Student Analyst will support BPW CRMs across various private wealth fundraising activities and initiatives, working closely with and under the guidance of team members. This is a great opportunity to build foundational exposure to CRM data management, fundraising and distribution support, and the broader private wealth and private markets industry, while developing practical business and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate start date: January 2027 or June 2027
Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Work schedule: 4-5 days/week. If the internship extends into summer 2027, the candidate ideally works 5 days per week during this time.
Responsibilities
CRM & Client / Distribution Partner Coverage
- Assist with maintaining CRM data relating to private wealth clients, prospects, and distribution partners, helping to keep information and activity records accurate and up to date, under the guidance of the team.
- Help track client and partner interactions, meetings, follow-ups, and fundraising activity as directed by senior team members.
- Support the preparation of basic CRM reports and data summaries to help the team with coverage prioritization and pipeline tracking.
- Assist with research on prospective clients, distribution partners, and private wealth market opportunities, under supervision.
Fundraising & Distribution Support
- Support the team with day-to-day tasks related to fundraising and distribution initiatives across the private wealth channel.
- Help prepare and update client and distribution partner presentations, product materials, meeting briefs, and other collateral, following templates and guidance provided by the team.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for client and partner meetings, roadshows, and events.
- Track fundraising progress, client interest, and follow-up actions under the direction of senior team members.
- Assist with organizing and summarizing data to support basic analysis of fundraising trends and client engagement.
Sales Enablement & Team Support
- Coordinate with internal teams, under guidance, to gather information needed for client and distribution partner engagements.
- Support the preparation of regular reporting on fundraising pipeline, activities, and key priorities.
- Assist with basic market and competitor research relevant to the private wealth business.
- Provide support on ad hoc projects across the CRM / fundraising team, gaining exposure to different aspects of the business.

Key Competencies Required
- Master's or last-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Genuine interest in asset management, private markets, private wealth and/or financial services distribution; no prior industry experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, natural curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or AI tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and able to manage tasks and deadlines with support and guidance from the team.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and discreet when handling confidential client and business information.
- Business fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
