Internship Program: Financial Communications (2027)

Are you interested in financial communications but not sure where to start? Do you enjoy making sense of complex issues and writing content that you can see delivered? We are looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Internship Program working across our Group Corporate Communications and Group Brand & Marketing teams.

What You’ll Do

• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced communications team and support multi-channel communications and brand marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with colleagues across UBS’s Media Relations, Strategic Internal Communications, and Brand Marketing teams in the US and globally.
• Create content for news articles, intranet pages, newsletters, videos, blog posts, and other communication materials for employees across the firm, including editing and writing.
• Identify story ideas and key messages across a wide range of topics.
• Support a portfolio of projects, including webpage redesigns, communication campaigns, development of guidelines, and review of intranet-related statistics.
• Support the organization and logistics of events such as townhalls and leadership events.
• Help stakeholders correctly implement UBS corporate design and tone of voice guidelines.

Team

You will work in the Americas Communications team in New York, which includes specialists in media relations, internal communications, executive communications, and reputation management. The team is diverse, values quality, and delivers high-impact communications.

What We’re Looking For

• Graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

• A team player who can also work independently, think strategically, and has strong communication skills.
• A self-starter who enjoys thinking creatively and thrives in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail (e.g., spotting typos).
• Excellent organization and event coordination skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new technologies that enable the communications function.
• Ability to demonstrate how responsible, experimental use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency.
