Job Description

Headquartered in New York, Guggenheim offers a premier Investment Banking advisory practice with offices in New York, London, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Houston.

Our internship program is designed for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in Investment Banking and who want to experience working in a dynamic Investment Banking advisory team. The inaugural European Guggenheim office was established in April 2023, offering a unique entrepreneurial opportunity in the Investment Banking industry.

The Healthcare Team works with clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare services, medical devices, and tools and diagnostics sectors on a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, collaborations and licensing, and other strategic transactions tailored to client needs.

Interns are important members of our deal teams and work as junior analysts on strategic advisory, M&A, and financing-related transactions and assignments. You will have meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives, as well as the ability to build relationships with junior bankers across the firm globally.

Candidates should be top performers who are willing to work hard in an entrepreneurial banking environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued. Genuine interest in the Healthcare sector and excitement to join a fast-growing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial team are a plus.

We are seeking bright, highly motivated individuals with solid corporate finance knowledge backed by strong technical skills, looking to jump-start their careers through hands-on training and experience at a growing firm. The Investment Banking unit will source part of its full-time analyst class from the internship program.
