Capital Markets Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027

Job Description

The role primarily supports the function within MUFG’s CMG practice, involving loans and bonds origination and execution, as well as loan distribution.

Work Scope

  • Preparing pitchbooks and materials for client meetings and follow-ups
  • Providing regular market and pricing updates for internal and external clients
  • Performing analytical work for client funding or corporate requirements
  • Supporting the CMG Loans and Bonds deal lead in internal approvals processes
  • Coordinating between internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closing
  • Supporting deal execution activities, including due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, and post-mortems

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Good oral and writing skills
  • Ability to work with, and eventually assist in building, complex financial models
  • Basic accounting and a strong finance background
  • Energetic, determined problem-solver with a strong work ethic
  • Good team player
