Turnaround and Restructuring Services Internship

KPMG’s Turnaround and Restructuring Services help businesses and their stakeholders conceptualise and implement strategic, operational, and financial change. These changes often arise from a constantly evolving business lifecycle, with businesses facing challenges such as right sizing and structuring for growth, underperformance, liquidity shortages, and insolvency. The team manages some of the world’s largest cross-border insolvencies in-country, including within complex and stringent regulatory environments.

As an intern in the Restructuring Services department, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering practical solutions to clients and their stakeholders, with hands-on involvement in the implementation of restructuring plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of restructuring plans as part of a dedicated project team.
• Assist in delivering practical solutions to clients and their stakeholders.
• Contribute to analyses that support strategic, operational, and financial change initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy or Business.
• Ideally progressing toward CPA or CA qualification.
• Familiarity with applicable Singapore law on corporate restructuring and insolvency.
• Ability to work in teams with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of business drivers and their fundamentals.
• Resourceful, versatile, analytical, and able to manage projects effectively.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau (coding skills are preferred).
