Job Summary

As an Analyst in the Strategic Investment Group within the Investment Banking Division, you will play a key role in the execution of the firm’s business. You will work with expert professionals in a leading global investment bank and receive training, hands-on learning, continuous mentoring, and feedback.

You will use your experience to support the firm’s M&A execution and capital raising capabilities, helping build J.P. Morgan’s franchise and reputation in the marketplace. You will develop strong functional skills across major areas of investment banking and grow into a senior client executive capable of generating and executing transactions. Job Responsibilities

• Execute transactions by supporting due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and coordinating with relevant client and advisory counterparties (e.g., accounting, legal).
• Work with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams.
• Build and use complex financial models, including completing valuation and analytical exercises.
• Draft presentation materials, including management presentations, board materials, memorandums, and other materials for M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue; stay abreast of key market developments and develop knowledge of target clients and relevant market dynamics.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in an investment banking front office or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and its steps; execution oriented.
• Impeccable communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders across other lines of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
