Analyst, Research & Investments - Infrastructure & Real Assets

Position Overview

The Analyst at StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets will provide analytical, modeling, and transactional support to SIRA’s local and international teams in advising clients on investments in infrastructure and associated real asset sectors globally.

Essential Job Functions

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to create and/or modify sophisticated financial models, analyze financial statements and financial forecasts, prepare valuation bridges, run discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, perform comparable public company analysis, and create sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Strong memo and presentation writing and preparation skills.
• Ability to research and conduct diligence on potential investment opportunities and sectors, including primary funds, secondaries, co-investments, and direct investments.
• Ability to construct an argument around investment decisions and effectively communicate that argument verbally and in written materials, including defending your position in a team environment and in Investment Committee meetings.
• Strong client interaction skills, including the ability to interact with clients and prepare advisory materials as required.
• Support senior staff on sourcing and managing the inflow of investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience at an investment bank, project finance firm, professional services firm, investment manager, Limited Partner, or in associated fields.
• A Bachelor’s degree or MBA (or higher), ideally in a related field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.

Salary Range

$115,000 - $120,000

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience. The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
