Investor Engagement Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview
Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 9-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2027 and offers the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and an inside look at what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you’ll participate in initiatives throughout the summer, including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.
Crush your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives
- Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support learning and growth
- Participate in training sessions and networking opportunities to further develop your technical and professional skills
- Champion AI-enabled ways of working and use AI technologies in your daily work
- Leverage existing AI platforms and resources to streamline manual processes, enhance analysis, and support team execution
- Communicate best-practice sharing to help teams and leaders effectively incorporate AI into their work

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and a rising junior graduating by summer of 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- All majors are welcomed, with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a Business-related field
- Demonstrated interest in investments
- Able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Invesco does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program, and will not provide assistance or sign documentation supporting other immigration sponsorship or benefits, including OPT or CPT
- Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with creative problem solving and analytical thinking
- Experience prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Prior internship in AI or investment management (preferred but not required)
- Experience gathering and interpreting market data
- Experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Studio and CoWork
- Intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio, or Excel (preferred)
Compensation: $40/hr.
