Team Overview

Our trading teams include traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers who collaborate to analyze global markets. They focus on understanding the complexities of traded products and exchanges, leveraging strong statistical analysis and data mining skills to produce forecasts and build profitable predictive trading models.

Internship Details

The quant trading internship is an intensive 10-week program designed to strengthen your trading aptitude and understanding of financial markets. You’ll also gain insight into what it’s like to be a full-time quant trader at Jump.

Interns contribute to trading teams in roles spanning quant trader, quant researcher, and quant developer. During the internship, you will receive training across these areas, with a focus on trading and financial markets. Topics include trading strategies and intuition, market mechanics, statistics, and the research process for signal generation.

You will work with trading teams on meaningful projects with real impact, while receiving daily 1:1 mentorship from experienced quant traders, researchers, and developers. You will also participate in mock trading sessions, poker training, and other modules aimed at improving probabilistic thinking, risk-taking, and trader mindset.
