PR Editor (Global Editorial Team)

As a PR Editor on the global Editorial Team, you will play a key role in helping drive clients’ PR distribution services. You will review and format clients’ press releases under pressing deadlines and distribute them via their global network to journalists, terminals, and websites. The role involves a high degree of concentration in editing and customer service. While this position does not focus on original writing, there are opportunities to specialize in areas related to newswire distribution and provide consultation to clients. GlobeNewswire clients range from C-Suite executives to PR professionals across multiple industries, serving both Public Relations and Investor Relations companies.

Essential Duties

• Review clients’ press releases for grammatical errors, spelling errors, and inconsistencies (does not involve fact-checking).
• Format press releases to match the client’s original version as closely as possible.
• Support clients with requests and enquiries via phone and email.
• Assist with clients’ regulatory needs, such as SEDAR and EDGAR filing.
• Support clients with account maintenance, including managing email lists, adding new users and accounts, and managing multimedia libraries.
• Collaborate with teammates and across departments.
• Develop knowledge of other Notified products.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, supporting administrative and consultative needs in addition to press release service requests.
• Starting time for the position may be any time of day.
• Ability to work occasional overtime during high-volume periods.
• Required to work occasional weekend on-call shifts, holidays, and occasional remote monitoring shifts outside the typical schedule each year.

Work Schedule & Location

• Hong Kong: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM HKT (permanent remote set up)
• Philippines: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM PHST (hybrid set up)

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field required.
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education.

Experience

• 1–2 years of professional experience required (previous newswire experience is a plus).
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.
