How You Will Create an Impact
From day one, you will work in specialized, high-energy teams tackling major questions in commercial strategy, pricing, and sales. You will develop deep expertise across industries and help clients optimize revenue models, improve profitability, and execute growth strategies.
Develop and Implement Commercial Growth Strategies
- Support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and sales effectiveness initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to identify new revenue opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Assist in designing and implementing commercial models aligned with business objectives.
Master the Art & Science of Pricing
- Analyze pricing data, customer needs and behaviors, and market trends to develop strategies for sustainable revenue growth.
- Optimize pricing structures, discounting models, and value-based pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Turn Analysis into Actionable Recommendations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to guide business decisions.
- Develop financial models, customer segmentation analyses, and pricing simulations.
- Work closely with clients to ensure recommendations are practical, actionable, and successfully implemented.
Communicate Insights and Drive Change
- Create compelling presentations and reports that turn complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.
- Participate in client workshops, discussions, and presentations to support execution.
- Engage directly with client teams to build buy-in and enable real-world adoption of strategic recommendations.

Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program at an accredited university/college.
- Pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, public health, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Expected graduation date between May and June 2028.
- 0 years of work experience.
- Consulting club or industry group experience is highly valued.
- Ability to intern for 9 weeks from June 7 to August 6, 2027.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; comfortable working with pricing models, sales data, and financial metrics.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for business growth, pricing optimization, and revenue strategy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including structuring complex challenges and developing actionable solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including distilling insights into compelling recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Python, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. Simon-Kucher does not offer sponsorship for this position (CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization).
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $41–$43/hr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
