Investment Product Analyst, Multi-Asset

Job Summary

Both Multi-Asset and Asia are key elements of Schroders’ growth strategy. The Product Management team is part of the overall Multi-Asset team and is responsible for managing the business of Multi-Asset, allowing fund managers to focus on investing. It serves as a bridge between the investment team and distribution to support and grow the Multi-Asset business. The team is the main contact with marketing and product development. The Investment Product Analyst role is based in Hong Kong and covers the North Asia region.

Key Responsibilities

The role is based in Hong Kong and will primarily cover North Asia clients.

The primary responsibilities focus on:

(a) Product and Client Support

• Client reports and review presentations – Provide regular updates on market and portfolio performance, as well as portfolio investment strategy, for distribution to existing clients.
• Product material – Ensure all regular Multi-Asset product presentations and fund updates are produced for distribution to sales channels.
• Product profiles – Maintain detailed specifications for each product, and lead content development for marketing literature for sales channels.
• Ad hoc reporting – Support sales and client service teams in responding to client queries.
• Language – Mandarin speaking and writing is highly preferred.

(b) New Business Development

• RFP ownership – Ensure RFPs are completed to the highest standards possible and tailored to clients’ needs.
• Client Pitches – Assist in the development of presentations for client pitches.
• Product Map and pitch books – Maintain and regularly update Multi-Asset product map and product pitch books.

(c) Business Management

• New business support – Maintain and analyse AUM, fund flows, and profitability relating to the Asian Multi-Asset investment desk.
• Risk monitoring – Conduct risk oversight and reporting, ensure all files are maintained.
