Role
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative located in either the DC or NYC area for a 100% in-person role. This individual will collaborate closely with our team to identify and qualify leads, initiate engaging conversations with potential clients through extensive cold calling, and play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. The position includes a base salary with the potential to earn equity and commissions, offering the opportunity to exceed 100% of the base salary.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cold outreach via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to initiate contact with prospects and introduce our products/services.
- Attend conferences to engage with industry peers and prospects, leveraging networking opportunities to close valuable sales leads.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create and execute strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Continuously build a target prospect list of healthcare professionals and qualify leads through online research, networking, and outreach.
- Educate healthcare professionals on Nitra's offerings.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, challenges, and buying behavior to determine fit with our offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and customer information using CRM software.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales pitches, presentations, and materials tailored to different customer segments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cold calling to generate leads and initiate sales conversations.
- 1+ years of sales experience with demonstrated ability to drive lead conversion and sales growth.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Background as a college athlete is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident, professional demeanor.
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and a desire to learn about the industry.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

Compensation
The compensation for this full-time position is $115,000–$125,000 OTE plus equity and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range shown reflects the target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. Base salary is listed here; bonuses, equity, and benefits are separate.
