Business Development Representative
Nasdaq is seeking a Business Development Representative to join the team, reporting to the Head of Business Development for North America. In this role, you’ll receive hands-on sales coaching while supporting our growth in private capital markets, with the goal of moving into a quota-bearing sales role at Nasdaq. This position is ideal for someone curious, eager to learn, and energized by building relationships with senior executives. It’s a strong foundation for a successful sales career in fintech.
What You’ll Do
- Support the senior sales team to identify and pursue key growth opportunities.
- Develop expertise in Nasdaq's Private Fund Solutions and share insights with clients and prospects.
- Contact senior executives to arrange meetings and drive interest in solution demos.
- Monitor capital markets trends and build deep knowledge of private markets and investor relations.
- Manage outbound campaigns across the region and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
- Results-driven mindset and comfort working in a performance-based environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of finance, investment management, or capital markets.
- Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or private markets.
Location & Work Arrangement
This position will be located in New York and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $123,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
