Location / Division
Grand Island, Staley Road location, BCD/BID Division of LSG. This is a Material Handler II role in the Storage (Outbound) department on 3rd shift with a work shift of Monday through Friday 10:30pm–7:00am.

Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance. Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards. Cold Room/Freezers: -22°F/-6°C. Loud noises (equipment/machinery). Some PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.). Warehouse environment. May work with hazardous/toxic materials. Working at heights.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks such as retrieving material from manufacturing departments and various warehouse environments.
- Transfer finished products to different pallets and band/wrap pallets.
- Use various electronic systems, ERP (E1), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Smartsheet.
- Stage products and load shipments onto logistics carriers.
- Perform checks and ensure inventory is stored accurately.
- Support receiving, picking, packing, or shipping as needed.
- Regularly operate PIT equipment (power walkie, forklift, pallet jack, stacker, swing truck).
- Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
- One to two years’ experience working with computers and basic software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with various powered industrial equipment (counter-balance trucks, reach trucks, powered pallet jacks).
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to partner with colleagues of differing cultural, language, and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
- Regularly lift up to 20 pounds; may occasionally lift 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or equipment.
- Work in -5 to -20°C freezer and 2 to 8°C cold room; may operate at different heights using PIT equipment (swing trucks, order pickers).
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.41–$21.61.
