Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain digital tools to improve the efficiency of equipment calibration/maintenance and inventory management processes within Singapore laboratory operations.
  • Use data analytics concepts and tools to analyze and recommend improvements for equipment performance and inventory demand and supply needs.
  • Participate in end-to-end management of laboratory inventory, including quotation requests from vendors, purchasing, receiving and storage, inventory monitoring and disposal of used/expired chemicals and other laboratory consumables.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory stores with good 5S practices.
  • Understand laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance requirements and ensure release of equipment for use within the stipulated due date.
  • Learn and apply site contractor management requirements for laboratory vendors.
  • Actively participate in logistical arrangements with the laboratories and vendors to enable timely equipment calibration/maintenance.
  • Ensure end-to-end management of archival, retrieval and disposal of pharmaceutical retain samples.
  • Practice Safety and cGMP according to site/global procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and execute safety, quality and productivity improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, update and maintain Power BI and other computer applications to improve work processes.
  • Perform data analysis and present findings to the Quality leadership team.

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc in Science/Engineering or a relevant major/minor in computing & data analysis.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Power Apps and Power BI. Added advantage for candidates with programming language skills.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of responsibility.
  • Good interpersonal skills / Team player.

*Internship duration is a minimum of 6 months, starting from May–July to December 2026.
