Role Overview

Are you a Company Secretarial Assistant with experience in a fast-paced and complex environment? Do you want to work for one of the world’s leading independent insurance brokers with flexible remote options? This role could be a great fit.

The Ardonagh Group is recruiting a Company Secretarial Assistant to join our growing team. This position will primarily be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of our UK and international entities, ensuring timely Companies House filings. You will also provide meeting support and be involved in the full range of activities of the Company Secretarial team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the functioning of the Corporate Secretariat to provide a comprehensive and effective company secretariat service for the Ardonagh Group of companies
  • Participate in the governance meeting cycle, including preparation and distribution of meeting packs and attending/minuting meetings
  • Ensure timely completion of Companies House filings and support non-UK entity management and filings
  • Assist with maintaining corporate data and structure charts using Diligent Entities
  • Keep governance documents up to date
  • Support the business with KYC compliance
  • Participate in ongoing legal entity rationalisation projects
  • Coordinate the annual accounts approvals process
  • Liaise closely with colleagues internally, including in other global teams
  • Undertake miscellaneous duties and tasks
  • Support and lead ad-hoc projects

Desirable Experience

  • Up to 2 years’ experience as a Company Secretarial Assistant or similar
  • Previous experience within the financial services sector
  • Either part-qualified or seeking to study to be a chartered company secretary
