Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate accounting close.
• Prepare monthly reports and other analysis reports.
• Review reconciliation reports for bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Handle bank payments.
• Provide finance advice and proactive support to management and business operations.
• Draft financial statements and tax computations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and company secretaries for statutory reporting.
• Continuously drive process improvements.
• Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance.
• Assist in creating new processes and system implementations when required.
• Perform any other duties or projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting/finance/banking and/or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA).
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; prior experience in Big 4 or audit firms is advantageous.
• Strong interest in finance industry developments, especially regulatory and technical updates (IFRS, tax developments, domestic regulatory developments).
• Experience in financial services or fintech is a plus.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel (lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas).
• Self-driven, meticulous, organized, and a team player.
• Willingness to adapt, be versatile, and take on tasks outside of predefined job scope to solve problems.
