What this job involves

Supporting the team

You will work side-by-side with the team to ensure the success of a project—from its initiation to design, construction, and completion. Projects are varied, with different dollar values and levels of complexity. You will be exposed to fit-outs and refurbishments for both tenants and landlords in Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Hospitality, and Education sectors.

Managing multiple projects concurrently

Many projects will be at different stages, so you will coordinate with multiple vendors to ensure no downtime during works. You will be involved in preparing project specifications and timelines, tender or bid documents, vendor procurement, and weekly project reports and updates for stakeholders. Delivering projects within established budgets and timelines is key.

To apply you need to be

Client-centric problem solver

Typically you should have a degree in a relevant field and/or one to eight years of experience in design, construction, or project management in interior fit-out projects for multinational clients. A strong background in interior fit-out management—covering schedule, quality, cost, risk management, and negotiation—will be advantageous. Experience surveying a client’s needs, completing commercial assessments, and preparing PM proposals will be tested. You should be quick to understand and address situations, including value engineering, buildability analysis, and critical reviews of design and documentation.

Business savvy and action-oriented

To excel, you should have a high level of understanding and technical expertise in business. We deliver projects that help clients succeed and help JLL achieve our business and financial goals. You should be well-versed in project products, systems, processes, tools, and best practices, and capable of managing site operations regardless of complexity. Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency for solving problems, improving products or services, exploring new markets, and implementing new strategies. You should be resilient and able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Know how to negotiate to generate risk-adjusted solutions and handle ambiguities.

A great communicator with superb organisational skills

Can you lead and motivate project teams, lead by example, and foster a creative environment? Clear communication, collaboration, and teamwork are essential. A structured, detail-oriented approach and being tech-savvy are crucial, as JLL uses a range of technology platforms to deliver projects.
