Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development, and rigorous credit standards.

The position is responsible for handling sales support, administration, and training related tasks for Tele sales, Loan Officers, and Direct Sales agents. It also involves developing, evaluating, and enhancing operations and control procedures for loan business to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations, and ensuring sales activities and operational procedures comply with internal and external regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

Sales Support and Control & Compliance

  1. Work closely with the sales team to improve the quality of customer service.
  2. Assist in monitoring team performance to deliver quality programs that increase customer satisfaction.
  3. Deliver day-to-day regular business reports, sales productivity reports, and MIS for management review.
  4. Handle all administrative tasks including documentation handling, office appearance maintenance, attendance records, and stationery ordering for each individual team within the department.
  5. Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure operational efficiency and service quality meeting customer satisfaction and requirements.
  6. Assist the team leader/manager in ensuring operations and sales activities comply with external regulatory codes and internal policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. This includes proper licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, IPQ, FNA, anti-money laundering, and the proper conduct of sales and order execution, ensuring documentation completeness in each deal.

Systems Administration (if applicable)

  1. Perform all system administrative functions, including controlling access authorization and ensuring smooth system operation.
  2. Closely monitor overall system performance and related systems to ensure operations run smoothly.
  3. Provide technical support to end-users addressing hardware and software issues.

Document Follow-up

  1. Follow up required documents for credit card applications and credit line increase requests on a timely basis.
  2. Deliver quality and efficient service and achieve preset success rates while complying with all regulatory, internal processes, and guidelines.
  3. Support all backend localized programs by providing flexible and prompt service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Secondary Education (HKCEE/DSE) holder or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer services or sales
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Presentable, pleasant, and polite
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • HKIB Certified Banker preferred
