Associate Director, Global Markets Quantitative Analyst

UBS Securities LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Global Markets Quantitative Analyst. Are you an innovative thinker? Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions? Are you passionate about IT process automation using cutting-edge tooling platforms?

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated decision-making systems at scale. Develop and support large-scale real-time trading risk monitoring systems to support multi-asset risk management within global markets.
• Build out a scenario analytical platform to support risk management of portfolios and client margin management. Build scalable solutions to identify opportunities for prime brokerage, Delta One trading, inventory management, funding, lending and collateral optimization.
• Engage and understand balance sheet and risk requirements and/or controls. Lead technology design discussions for scalability and performance.
• Work in a hybrid environment (in-office/remote).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Quantitative and Computational Finance, Engineering (any), or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in the offered job or 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Java Developer, or a related occupation.
• Experience with the following tools and areas:
  • Q (KDB); Python
  • Implementing high-performance, large-scale end-to-end software solutions
  • Delta-one products, prime brokerage, cash trading and equity derivatives
  • UNIX; scripting; SQL; R; Java
  • Visual Studio Code
  • Risk analytics and modelling
  • LaTeX

Salary, Schedule & Benefits

Salary Range: $170,000 to $225,000 per year, 40 hours per week. This notice is posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. The expected salary range is based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
