About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Advisory Intern to support the Investment Office. This role provides hands-on exposure to providing real-life investment solutions through asset allocation, portfolio construction, monitoring, and in some cases specific fund recommendations, across traditional and alternative investment strategies.
The ideal candidate is an analytical, data-driven, intellectually curious individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience working alongside investment professionals and developing a deeper understanding of investment products and financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Investment Office in extracting and maintaining investment-related data, including fund performance, portfolio characteristics, risk metrics, and other key investment information
- Creating and maintaining investment-related client materials, including Endowus advised portfolios, funds, and macro market updates
- Assist in preparing investment presentations, portfolio reviews, and other client-facing materials
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment funds using relevant databases
- Support ongoing client portfolio performance monitoring
- Assist with ad hoc projects, research assignments, and operational initiatives as required
Requirements
- Singapore-based final-year university student who can potentially transition into full-time after a 3-12 month internship (with flexibility to be part-time after summer)
- Bachelors/Masters degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A proactive learner with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- A collaborative team player who can work and communicate effectively across different functions and stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial markets, investment concepts, and investment products including mutual funds and alternative investments (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, private credit) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Morningstar Direct and/or Bloomberg is a plus
