Electronic Market Data Analyst M/F

Overview

Join Crédit Agricole CIB Americas as an Electronic Market Data Analyst. The Capital Markets electronic offering delivers the commercial and product strategy to clients. The eSales team, embedded within the global Electronic Client Connectivity team, is a specialized, strategy- and product-driven group supporting the bank’s distribution strategy in its electronic dimension. The team’s key responsibilities include understanding clients’ needs and evolving trading strategies, partnering with internal and external clients to solve problems and drive growth, and leading change management to extract value from market electronification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain analytical dashboards and synthesize information from data platforms of trading venues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated data pipelines developed in Python/VBA.
• Maintain and troubleshoot visuals, metrics, and data connections within Power BI dashboards.
• Act as backup in the BCP (Business Continuity Planning) process.
• Develop and refine analytical dashboards; improve efficiency by establishing new data delivery channels (e.g., SFTP), integrating data scraping tools into Crédit Agricole CIB’s technology framework, conducting regular code reviews, and optimizing dashboards.
• Assist with driving new analytics initiatives across regions.
• Develop commentary for dashboards and reports that present insights as a cohesive, actionable story.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems and support growth.
• Understand internal stakeholders’ needs and tailor reporting packs (customized and standardized).
• Prepare first-level business analysis and understand the trade lifecycle as reflected in in-house applications.
• Assist with issue and outage handling with sales and trading, technology, operations, external brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with external vendors to align with client direction; present data findings to clients.

Requirements

Education & Eligibility (VIE)

• For VIE eligibility: under 28 years old, hold a Master’s degree, and be an EU citizen.
• Postgraduate Master’s degree from a University, Business School or Engineering School with specialization in data science, quantitative finance.
• Be available to start on 01/09/2026; the position is 12 months (VIE).
• Must upload resume and cover letter in English.
• Location: New York, United States (Americas region).

Education & Experience

• Minimum 0–2 years of experience; prior experience in a financial environment is desirable.

Hard Skills

• Expert knowledge of Excel and VBA.
• Experience in SQL.
• Experience in building Power BI dashboards or equivalent data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Prior knowledge of financial products.
• Proven coding capabilities (e.g., for data or information-related project automation).
• Fluent in French and English.
