The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group originates and executes public and private equity offerings and equity-linked financings for global clients. ECM professionals collaborate with the firm’s investment banking professionals to advise corporations, private companies, and financial sponsors on equity issuance and other equity market activities. The ECM team works with sales, traders, and research analysts to deliver market intelligence, industry knowledge, and execution capabilities. Jefferies is consistently ranked as a leading underwriter of equities and has experience with IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, private placements, and convertible securities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide financial modeling to support banking activities.
• Build and maintain a variety of databases.
• Perform refunding and restructuring analyses.
• Prepare proposal and presentation materials.
• Work closely with senior bankers on transactions.
• Interface with underwriters, salespeople, and traders.

Salary for this role: $110,000 per year.
