Equities Analyst Program — New York

Millennium’s Equities Analyst Program is a partnership between Millennium and UBS. During the first year, Analysts will train with Senior Associates at UBS in Equity Research before joining a Portfolio Management Team at Millennium.

Year 1: UBS Training

  • Extensive training in valuation and accounting from the UBS Research Academy
  • Rotations through multiple coverage verticals (e.g., Consumer, Tech, Industrials, Energy, Financials) to provide education on different business models, industry drivers, and approaches to valuation
  • Exposure to the UBS trading desk in addition to the research and specialist sales teams
  • Checkpoint assessments to apply learning to real-life market scenarios
  • Frequent communication and support from Millennium’s Equity Advisory Services team

Year 2: Portfolio Management

  • Conduct fundamental financial analysis to assess investment opportunities
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models and valuation analyses
  • Explore research avenues such as earnings calls, transcripts, public filings, and relevant data
  • Analyze and maintain market data, industry data, and alternative data
  • Collaborate closely with sell-side and other buy-side analysts to help manage information flow
  • Communicate due diligence findings with the investment team and provide recommendations on strategy
  • Strengthen coverage and industry knowledge by attending industry events, conferences, and speaking with third-party professionals and consultants

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree and graduating by June 2027 with a GPA of 3.6 or above
  • Strong passion for the financial services industry and investing
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve research, workflow efficiency, and problem-solving while maintaining strong attention to detail and judgment
  • Strong Excel skills with financial modeling experience/interest
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000, specific to New York and subject to change. Millennium pays a total compensation package that includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Final offers consider an individual’s experience and qualifications to determine a competitive total compensation package.
