The Investment20/20 Programme
We are proud to be part of the Investment20/20 initiative and are recruiting for a number of 12-month placements across the business. You’ll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the function’s success, gain industry knowledge and experience, and develop relationships. These roles are traineeship opportunities, so we are specifically looking for school leavers. We offer entry-level work experiences that will inspire and challenge you.
What are we looking for?
The Junior Analyst discovers, develops, manages and evaluates new products and/or solutions, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, ensuring the competitiveness of existing products. Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks phases of the product lifecycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace.
Strengthens the sales effort by working with Sales and Marketing to define competitive market requirements and identify opportunities. Models profit and loss, or risk control.
You will be involved in

Providing quantitative analytics for ETFs across equities, fixed income and commodities, including performance and tracking analyses as well as industry fund flows; ensuring outputs are accurate and produced in a timely fashion

Responding promptly and proactively to ad-hoc requests from sales for product information and analytics, ensuring adherence to relevant Compliance standards in externally distributed materials

Producing content for client presentations, regular product updates and internal performance analytics; coordinating with other product teams, Content, and Compliance to produce final, client-ready materials

Collaborating on ongoing development of new tools (Excel/VB, Python, etc.) to continuously improve, expand, automate and streamline team processes

Developing a broad but granular understanding of how Invesco ETFs function and communicating this to other business areas (e.g., sales, marketing)
What do we need from you?
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
A clear analytical thinker and natural problem solver with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, think logically and communicate ideas clearly
Strong Excel skills and confidence in manipulating data to extract relevant insights; programming skills (Python) highly valued
A strong visual sense – able to present ideas and quantitative information in an intuitive and visually appealing manner
Outstanding attention to detail in data manipulation and content preparation, both written (grammar) and presentations (formatting)
