Investment Banking - Corporate Finance Advisory - Analyst

Job Summary

Join the Investment Banking Division as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Advisory team, where you will contribute to the execution of the firm’s M&A and capital raising activities. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams
• Build and use complex financial models, perform analytical exercises, and work with large data sets
• Support senior bankers in developing structured solutions for complex transactions
• Develop subject-matter expertise in corporate finance and structuring areas including capital structure, capital allocation, and spin-offs
• Draft management presentations, Board materials, and other materials for M&A, capital markets transactions, or strategic client dialogue
• Stay informed on key market developments and maintain knowledge of target clients and relevant market dynamics
• Create thematic client content on key issues and market developments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, corporate finance, and business writing skills
• Impeccable communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders across lines of business
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
• Problem solver with the desire to create new solutions and products
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution-oriented approach
