Job Summary
Join the Investment Banking Division as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Advisory team, where you will contribute to the execution of the firm’s M&A and capital raising activities. Work with expert professionals at a leading global investment bank, with training, hands-on learning, mentoring, and development opportunities. Develop strong functional skills in investment banking and become a senior client executive capable of generating and executing your own transactions. Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams
- Build and use complex financial models, perform analytical exercises, and work with large data sets
- Support senior bankers in developing structured solutions for complex transactions
- Develop subject-matter expertise in corporate finance and structuring areas including capital structure, capital allocation, and spin-offs
- Draft management presentations, Board materials, and other materials for M&A, capital markets transactions, or strategic client dialogue
- Stay informed on key market developments and maintain knowledge of target clients and relevant market dynamics
- Create thematic client content on key issues and market developments
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, corporate finance, and business writing skills
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders across lines of business
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
- Problem solver with the desire to create new solutions and products
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution-oriented approach
