Business Management

Brief Overview:

Business Management (BM) is part of the SGX FX business unit under the Global Markets Division. It drives growth through formulated strategy and business initiatives, and develops business intelligence and insights to enhance the value proposition of SGX FX.

Learning Objectives

• Hands-on exposure to and experience with industry trends and the regulatory landscape impacting growth strategies and opportunities within the FX industry
• Supporting the implementation of regulatory strategies to operationalize newly set-up regulated entities
• Assisting with regulatory and compliance risk-related tasks associated with running SGX FX business lines
• Interacting across different business units and stakeholders to drive objectives of the business management team
• General understanding of Singapore Exchange, Global Markets, and SGX FX business operations

Job Description

• Participate in regulatory and compliance related projects
• Support regulatory initiatives across SGX FX business lines
• Assist with the documentation of SGX FX’s internal policies and procedures, where applicable
• Assist in any business management projects and initiatives
• Other business support and activities as needed

Knowledge and Skills

• Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English
• Familiar and comfortable with Adobe, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently
• Ability to multitask and deliver on tight deadlines
• Self-motivated team player with a positive work attitude
• Interest and background in financial markets and products
