Overview
CME Group is currently looking for a Clearing House Risk Year-around Intern. The Pricing and Valuation Analyst Intern will assist the daily OTC settlement process and focus on certain OTC products, including Financial and Commodities futures & options. The incumbent will take an independent role in at least one research project (such as data mining, new product launching, settlement system design and calibration, etc.) and will work with the operations team to help clients understand CME OTC pricing and valuation.
Principal Accountabilities
- Addresses client pricing inquiry
- Leads Daily OTC Settlement
- Participates independently in research projects
Software Skills and Requirements
- Master's degree preferred: Math Finance, Applied Mathematics, or Financial Engineering
- 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, Tableau, Google Cloud Workspace (BigQuery, UDAP, etc.)
Other Requirements
- Hybrid schedule — able to come into the CME Group New York office (300 Vesey Street, NY, NY 10282) at least four times per week
- Able to work 40 hours per week
