Investment Banking - Real Estate - Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Execute transactions: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaison with the client and other advisers (accounting, legal, etc.).
• Collaborate with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams.
• Build and use complex financial models, and complete valuation and analytical analyses.
• Draft presentation materials, management presentations, board materials, memoranda, and other materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue; stay informed on key market developments and develop knowledge of target client bases and market dynamics.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
• A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process; execution oriented.
• Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
