Data Scientist Intern

Overview

Integrated within the data science team, the intern data scientist will work on data projects directly related to Ardian's portfolio assets (e.g., industrial companies in sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, retail, healthcare, etc.) as well as transversal projects within the company (such as generative AI).

This position requires a degree of autonomy, always accompanied by regular supervision from other data scientists and team managers. It offers direct exposure to the management of the concerned companies, as well as current issues of decarbonization and sustainable development. Depending on workload and the intern's interests, they may also work on topics related to the fund's broader investment and asset management activities.

Responsibilities

Contribute to data science projects tied to Ardian's portfolio assets and participate in cross-functional initiatives within the company, including generative AI and sustainability-focused efforts. Maintain a proactive approach with supervision from senior data scientists and managers, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Profile

• 3rd-year student (end-of-studies internship) or 2nd-year student (2nd gap year internship) from engineering or business school, currently pursuing a degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or a related field
• Prior experience in data science required
• Advanced proficiency in Python required
• Fluent English essential
• Good command of Excel and PowerPoint appreciated

• Remuneration based on profile
• Monday–Thursday meals provided in Ardian's office
