Assistant Engineer, Smart Security & Automation

Job Description Summary

The incumbent will be tasked with actively collaborating on project fulfillment, managing project documentation and subcontractor affairs, performing system and database setups, resolving technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and possessing proficiency in areas such as networking and Windows operating systems.

Job Description

Collaborate closely with Project Maintenance Managers and Engineers to support the fulfillment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope. Perform system setup and database setup, resolve technical and design issues. Support IT infrastructure comprising Microsoft Windows operating systems. Provide basic setup of network switches and perform network checks and IP address configuration of all network devices within the project. Installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, or equivalent
• Proficient in Networking and Windows OS
• Singaporeans only due to government-related projects
• Proficient in SQL; knowledge will be a strong plus
• Knowledge in any of the following will be a strong plus

• Physical Access System experience (e.g., CCTV)
• SQL Management Studio application and database tables
• Vulnerability assessment, Windows patching, antivirus updating
• Domain administration with Active Directory
• Programming of managed switches

Work Location

24 Ang Mo Kio Street 65, Electronics Hub. Will be deployed to various sites when necessary.
