The programmes
Voya runs internship programs in two named tracks, both open to currently enrolled undergraduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA (voya.com/page/internships; program timing and structure independently corroborated by Empire State University's career center):
- Actuarial Sciences: rotational assignments across pricing, valuation, modeling, financial reporting and asset/liability management, structured to support progress on Society of Actuaries exams
- Information Technology: placement on a working team spanning office applications, security systems, networking and web technologies
Voya describes the internship itself as a "12-week interview," using performance during the placement to decide on full-time offers rather than running a separate graduate-scheme process. That structure makes the internship the main hiring gate for a full-time seat, not a formality ahead of one, worth knowing before treating it as a lower-stakes summer than a full recruiting loop.
