Interns work onsite in San Francisco, New York, or Bucharest, Romania, on teams covering zero-knowledge proofs, MEV, client design, smart contract engineering, and developer tooling. Eligibility is limited to currently enrolled juniors, seniors, master's, or PhD students in computer science or a related field, with prior internship or co-op experience preferred; new graduates are not eligible for this track. That bar rules out first- and second-years and anyone who has already graduated before the interview stage is even reached.

It last raised money in a February 2022 Series C-1, $200 million led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Silver Lake at a $10.2 billion valuation, bringing total funding to $545.5 million since its 2017 founding. For an early-career engineer with a limited number of applications to place, a live production relationship with a regulated bank and five funding rounds since founding are two verifiable signals of staying power in a sector where many startups can show neither.
