About the Job

We are seeking a passionate and innovative student to join our dynamic team in the Pathwave Software Solutions Group Center of Excellence (PSS COE). You will work on developing components of our enterprise Electronic Design Automation (EDA) product offering, involving development work in Python or C++.

About the Team

You will be working in a team with a product owner and developer to design and implement features. You will also clarify requirements and enhancements with the product management team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the principles of electronic design and how to apply them in software.
• Translate design requirements into high-level pre-layout designs.
• Define details such as substrates, vias, layers, and transmission line properties.
• Run simulations, analyze the results, and suggest corrective actions.
• Use agents and APIs to define designs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related software discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Interest and experience in electronic design, IC design, simulation, and signal integrity challenges; prior experience with ADS will be an advantage.
• Experience and interest in software development.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
