About the Role

As an Engineer in the PIS division, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining passenger information systems that deliver real-time updates and accurate data to rail commuters. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems integration, production, and project management to ensure the delivery of reliable, user-friendly, and innovative solutions tailored to the rail transit environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy Passenger Information Systems tailored to rail mobility requirements, ensuring system integrity and operational efficiency.
• Develop technical specifications and system integrations for PIS components in collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support during the production phase of PIS projects, liaising with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to oversee adherence to design and performance standards.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to maintain high availability and reliability of PIS solutions.
• Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and documentation to support long-term system sustainability.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in passenger information systems and rail mobility to continually improve solutions.
• Engage in project planning and execution activities, contributing detailed technical input and status reporting to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with experience or strong interest in rail systems and passenger information technologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering tasks within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline-driven environments.
• Familiarity with software and hardware integration relevant to PIS, including networking, display technologies, and data communication protocols.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly across internal departments and external partners.
